Kai-Otto Melau is a freelance photographer based in Oslo, Norway.
He has been working as a photographer for the last ten years, with clients from the Salvation Army to IKEA – and everything in between.
In recent years he has worked a lot with Extreme Sports, such as triathlon, ultratrail and various expedition races. He has also worked with various NGO`s on assignment in China – the Tibetan plateau, Burundi and Pokot/Turkana in Kenya.
Kai-Otto Melau is an award winning photographer. He has won awards in National Geographic Photo Contest, Technical Rescue Magazine`s «SAR photographer of the Year» as well as being nominated for CIWEM`s Enviromental Photographer of the Year.
